Go and Grow Getaway – June, 2011

The best Father’s Day Weekend, Getaway, Life Time Memory Making trip this year!
What is a “Go and Grow?”

Go and Grow is a time to get out of the coming Vegas heat for a weekend of fun, growth, recharging and adventure at The Summit Chateau Lodge.  Click here for info on the Lodge http://summitchateaulodge.com

Why are you (Jase) doing this?

I started The Seminar Club as a place for like minded, positive, healthy and happy people to connect, and create community.  I was going to do an event just for club members, but I decided to open it up for a few reasons:

  • My GF Eden’s kids love the hot springs and Utah so I want to give them a great trip before they go out of town.
  • I absolutely love the Summit Chateau Lodge so much that ANY excuse to go there is a great reason.
  • The Pah Tempe Hot Springs are amazing and the experience will stay with you for a lifetime
  • MY MOM IS COMING TO TOWN AND I WANT TO GIVE HER A GREAT EXPERIENCE!
Why are you (Jase) inviting me?
  • So you can experience some true beauty and connect with loved ones (or make new friends)
  • I love the Summit Chateau Lodge and the people who run it and I figure that if you see it you might want to do a family reunion, retreat etc. there and that’d be a win-win for all!
  • I love exposing people to great experiences and giving them a chance to connect
  • So I can get to know you and you can get to know me.  Also, so that if I may serve you in some capacity in the future you can get to see what I do and what I’m about.
Why should I go?

If you want to make new friends, spend time with loved ones, recharge, grow, increase your income, break through an area that’s held you back or JUST HAVE FUN, then you want to go with us on this event.

Will we have fun?

First, we’ll be having and a whole lot of fun and relaxation and for those who want to join the optional times, we’ll have a bit of learning.

The Summit Chateau Lodge has lots of fun indoor activities like pool, air hockey, and foosball.  There’s wonderful lodging in the main lodge, in Yurts, cabins or the bunk bed wing.  Outside there are beautiful vistas, hiking and a hot tub overlooking a mountain range. This is truly a special place.

Optional class time?

If you want to join us, we’ll have a couple of optional “class” times where I’ll share how to make breakthroughs in your life and get new results.  We’ll be enjoying some seminar time (for people who’ve been to LCS or the Ultimate Breakthrough it will be a refresher, and for people who haven’t it will be a nice introduction to our seminars) on Saturday and Sunday for one to two hours each session.  The seminar times are optional and you’re under NO obligation to attend.

ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS FOR THE “CLASS” IS TO HAVE A SPECIFIC “TIME” WHERE PEOPLE CAN CONNECT AND MAKE NEW FRIENDS.  Class will be after breakfast Saturday and Sunday.

Lifetime memories?

We’ll also get out in nature, (if you want to join us, remember: it’s all optional) and create lifetime memories going to the hot springs right next to the virgin river (see the pics below). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU JOIN US FOR THE HOT SPRINGS (AND BRING A WATERPROOF CAMERA)!

The hot springs built into the walls of a canyon through which runs the Virgin River.  It’s a beautiful place and you can relax, soak, cover yourself in healthy mud and….well, it’s a lifetime memory place.  Fun for the whole family.  (See pics below)  The hot springs are a quaint 80 minute drive from the Lodge.

Who attends?

This getaway is for anyone who wants to get away for a weekend with a bunch of fun, positive people!

What ages and physical levels attend?

Our youngest attendee has been 21 to our oldest in their 70’s. Adults and kids are welcome to attend. All activities out doors are optional, and none are too hard, it’s mostly just relaxation. There’s a ton of indoor activities so almost anyone will have something to do. *We will be up at a pretty high altitude, so please check with your doctor if you have breathing problems.

When?

Arrive on Friday June  17th and depart on Sunday the 19th.

Dinner is a buffet starting at 8pm Utah time on Friday the 17th.  Please note: Utah is 1 hour ahead of Las Vegas.  The drive from Vegas to the Lodge is about 2 and 1/2 to 3 hours, plus the time change, so you’ll need to leave Vegas about 4 to get there by 8.  We’ll leave the buffet out for a while, so be cool if you can’t make it right by 8, just let Matt know when you’ll be there and we’ll see how we can accommodate you!

Where will we stay?

Zion National Park Information
You may wish to extend your stay and enjoy this beautiful park.

More than 2 million people visit Zion Canyon each year. To eliminate traffic and parking problems, and to restore tranquility to the park, the shuttle system was established. Riding the shuttle is free and fun, it’s a great way of moving between the sights of Zion Canyon. (No pets are allowed in the bus).

Shuttles operate from late March till late October, and private cars are not allowed to drive through Zion Canyon during the season (other roads of the park remain open to private vehicles). Shuttles operate daily beginning at about 6:30 a.m. until approximately 9:30 p.m. The intervals between the buses vary between 30 min to every 6-8 minutes during the busy times of the day.

A complete round trip along Zion Canyon will take a minimum of 90, but you can get on and off as often as you like, to take pictures and enjoy the views. For a day trip on the shuttle, take with you water, snacks, sunscreen and/or sunglasses, wear good walking shoes, and don’t forget your camera!

Shuttle bus stops:

  • Zion Canyon Visitor Center
  • Zion Museum
  • Canyon Junction
  • Court of the Patriarchs
